NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR GRADING OF ESIC HOSPITALS

ESI Corporation established under the ESI Act, 1948, provides comprehensive medical care services through a large network of health facilities.

The ESI Corporation invites sealed tender from professional agencies/ firms having experience in the field of health care quality assesment for grading of 14 ESIC hospitals as detailed below:-

The objective of the project is to assess the current level of services and to grade the hospitals. The initial assessment for grading is to be followed by two review assesments at an interval of one year each. The firm must have past experience of similar work. Proposal should be submitted as two bids tender i.e. Technical bid and financial bid separately.

Format of technical bid –

1. Name of the organisation.

2. Field of activities of organisation.

3. Brief note on activities related to medical care assesment work.

4. List of hospitals graded by the firm, giving details.

5. A brief of grading methodolgy to be adopted.

6. Time frame for assessment and submission of report.

Format of financial bid –

Rates for each hospital should be given separately for initial assessment and surveillance as per the table given below:-

Tenderers should keep their bid valid for 180 days from the date of opening bids. The offers should be submitted in separate sealed envelopes marked “technical bid” and “financial bid”. Both envelops should be put in sealed envelops marked “Tender for Grading of ESIC Hospitals”. Same is to be submitted to the Office of Quality Assurance & Medical Audit Cell, ESIC Hqrs. Office Extension, ESIC Hospital Complex, Sector – 15, Rohini, Delhi – 110085. by 11.00 AM on 12.2.2008 The Technical Bid will be opened on the same day i.e. 12.2.2008 at 11.30 AM at the same address. In case opening date of tender falls on Gazetted Holidays or subsequently declared as such holiday then same will be opened on next working day at scheduled hours. Bids faxed, incomplete, late or delayed are liable to be summarily rejected. ESIC will not be responsible for delay in transit or damamge or loss of tender document sent by post. Only those firms which fulfil the technical criteria will be considered for opening of financial bid.
